Sports Captioning

Providing equal access to your fans has never been quicker or easier.

When you add remote realtime speech-to-text captioning to your stadium or arena, your guests’ event experience is complete.

Why Choose Us?

When you work with Home Team Captions, you are assigned a dedicated Client Services Specialist, who will know your team, your stadium, and your needs.

  • Our experienced and professional captioners have provided realtime stadium captioning since 2006.
  • We work in stadiums and arenas nationwide, for professional, collegiate, and high school teams.
  • We have captioned almost every sport – football, baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, gymnastics, soccer, wrestling, and volleyball.
  • Many members of our team also caption broadcast sports, including the Olympics.

How does it work?

Our captioner will connect directly to your venue from a remote office. Once connected, we listen to your event live and caption word for word, in realtime and at an accuracy rate of 99% or higher. We provide all the equipment needed to produce realtime captions – stenograph machine, laptop, and captioning software.

Our realtime captioners are nationally certified and well-versed in sports and sports terminology, and all our captioners have backup equipment and audio lines.

We assign a small, dedicated group of captioners for your team’s event, ensuring familiarity with your team, rosters, and history. This guarantees you will receive quality captioning for every event.

Display Options

There are many options for you to display your captions in your stadium or arena. We are happy to provide you with a demo of all display options at your convenience.

Ribbon/Fascia Boards

To display to your in-stadium boards, we will connect through a dedicated IP address or will dial in to your onsite encoder.

Handheld Devices

Using the platform, we stream our captions to a static URL (or link). You can provide this link to fans as a QR code, web address or embed on your team app. Captions can then be viewed in realtime on a smartphone or tablet.

Concourse Monitors

Connection is made to your onsite encoder, which then displays our captions on monitors throughout your concourse.

Output to Multiple Sources

With output to multiple sources, captions are 100% accessible throughout your stadium. The same captioner can feed captions to your ribbon boards, handheld devices – including your app – and to monitors located throughout your concourse. One captioner, multiple feeds, one cost!

Stadium Captioning

When you add remote realtime speech-to-text captioning to your stadium or arena, your guests’ event experience is complete.

Realtime captions not only benefit your guests with hearing loss and those for whom English is a second language, they enhance the experience for any guest struggling to hear within a noisy environment.

Including captioning for your guests is easy when you work with Home Team Captions. Not only do we provide realtime captioning for sporting events, but our team of professional captioners has also captioned civic events including commencement ceremonies, religious services, and concerts.

Important Announcement

In May 2020, ACS began a new journey by becoming an Ai-Media Company, an Australian-based captioning company that services people who are Deaf and hard-of-hearing throughout the world.

Home Team Captions will be a brand of Ai-Media.  We are proud to be an Ai-Media Company and looks forward to a long and healthy future.  What this means for you is enhanced service, the strongest and most secure technical environment possible, and new opportunities such as language translation and audio description.  The best part is that the people of PostCAP (Home Team Captions) are not changing.  You still have all the same faces and names plus many more!
